Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last Updated: August 2026
At Playpod Education, we are committed to building reliable tools for the educational environment. As a software platform aimed at professionals and institutions (B2B), payments, billing, and refunds are independently operated by our authorized reseller Merchant of Record.
1.Right of Withdrawal
As a B2B software service aimed at professionals and institutions, and being a cloud-based digital service that begins its execution immediately upon payment confirmation, the Customer expressly acknowledges and agrees that they lose any 14-day legal right of withdrawal contemplated in European consumer protection regulations (B2C). Nevertheless, we offer the following voluntary commercial guarantee.
2.Initial Money-Back Guarantee
To ensure the tool fits your classroom needs and to allow the Educator to evaluate the full cycle of the platform, we offer a 100% “No Questions Asked” Money-Back Guarantee during the first fourteen (14) calendar days from the purchase date of the initial subscription.
If during this period you feel the platform does not meet your expectations, you may request a full refund. Please note that, as detailed in Section 4, upon processing the refund, your Premium features will be deactivated and your private audio files will switch to a “Draft/Blocked” status.
3.Authomatic Renewal (Monthly and Annual)
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle to ensure uninterrupted access to the software and prevent the loss of school audio files.
- Monthly Subscriptions: We do not offer full or partial refunds for monthly renewal charges once processed. It is the Customer’s sole responsibility to cancel their subscription from their dashboard prior to the billing date.
- Annual Subscriptions: We understand that an annual plan renewal can go unnoticed, especially due to school calendars. Therefore, we offer a Grace Period of fourteen (14) calendar days following the automatic charge of an annual renewal. If you cancel the subscription and contact us within those 14 days, we will request our Authorized Reseller to issue a full refund for the renewed annual amount. After these 14 days, the annual payment is considered final and no refunds will be issued.
4.Cancellation Process and Consequences for Content
The Customer may cancel the automatic renewal of their subscription at any time, autonomously and without penalties, from their account’s billing dashboard.
Upon cancellation, no further charges will be made. The account and access to Premium features (including private podcasts) will remain active until the last day of the current billing cycle (which has already been paid). No pro-rated refunds will be issued for unused days of an ongoing month or year.
Upon processing an immediate refund or at the end of the subscription period without renewal, the Educator’s account will automatically be changed to our Basic Plan.
To ensure the strict privacy and security of minors (Privacy by Design), any podcast, episode, or content configured under the “Private Access / Classroom Only” option (an exclusive Premium feature) will not be deleted, but will automatically switch to a “Draft / Blocked” status, making it inaccessible to students and the public.
The Educator will retain access to their files in their dashboard and may choose to re-subscribe to the Premium service to restore private access, or publish them openly under the Basic Plan conditions (assuming, in the latter case, full responsibility for obtaining the legally required consents for the public exposure of such material).
5.Account Suspension due to Breach of Terms
If an account is suspended, blocked, or terminated by our moderation team due to a violation of our Terms of Service (e.g., allowing the publication of inappropriate or illegal content, infringing intellectual property rights, or failing to obtain legally required parental consents), the Customer forfeits the right to any type of refund, whether full or partial.
6.Unjustified Bank Disputes (Chargebacks)
If the Customer initiates an unjustified bank dispute (Chargeback) directly through their bank or credit card issuer, bypassing this policy or without prior contact with our support team to seek a resolution, the account will be immediately suspended, and access to all audio files will be blocked. We will submit connection logs, Terms acceptance records, and system usage logs to our Authorized Reseller to legally challenge the dispute.
7.How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, the Educator managing the account must send an email to contacto@playpod.education from the registered email address. A purchase receipt or invoice number issued by our Merchant of Record must be attached.
Our team will review the request to confirm it falls within the valid timeframes (14 days for the initial purchase or the annual renewal grace period) and will instruct the payment gateway to process the refund. Please remember that, as detailed in Section 4, upon processing the refund, your private audio files will switch to a “Draft/Blocked” status.
