Cookie Policy
Last Updated: August 2026
At Playpod Education (hereinafter, the “Website” or the “Platform”), we believe that your privacy and that of your students is paramount. This Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use, and how you can manage them
1.What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files downloaded and stored in the browser of your computer, smartphone, or tablet when accessing certain web pages or applications. Their main function is to allow the website to work properly (for example, remembering that you have logged in) and to provide information about how the site is used.
2.Our Privacy Approach
We apply a strict separation in our use of cookies:
- In the App (Private Environment): We do not use any tracking, analytics, advertising, or third-party cookies. When a student logs in with their “Class Code”, only strictly necessary technical cookies are used to keep the session secure and enable audio recording.
- On the Public Website (Landing Page): We use essential technical cookies and, only if you give us your explicit consent, anonymous analytical cookies to understand how many educators visit our website and how we can improve it. We do not show ads or sell your data.
3.What Types of Cookies Do We Use?
Depending on their purpose, we use the following cookies:
- Technical Cookies (Strictly Necessary): These are essential for the website and the platform to function. They enable navigation, Educator secure login, site security, and payment processing through our Merchant of Record. By law, these cookies do not require your consent and cannot be disabled, as the service would stop working without them.
- Preference Cookies: These allow the website to remember information that changes the way the site behaves or looks (e.g., your preferred language).
- Analytical Cookies (Optional): Only on our public website, we use measurement tools ( Google Analytics (_ga) ) to quantify the number of users and perform anonymous statistical measurements. These cookies are only installed if you click “Accept” on our cookie banner.
4.Third-Party Cookies
Some third-party services integrated into our platform may install their own cookies for proper operation. In our case, payments and subscription billing are managed by our Merchant of Record, who use technical security and anti-fraud cookies during the checkout process. You can check their privacy policies directly on their respective websites.
5.How to Disable or Delete Cookies
You can allow, block, or delete the cookies installed on your device at any time through your browser settings. Please note that if you disable technical cookies, you may not be able to log into your Educator account.
Below, we provide links to the instructions for the most common web browsers:
- Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data.

You can also manage your analytical cookie preferences at any time directly from the cookie configuration banner that appears when you first visit our public website.
